SEVA-PORT is a collaboration among three workforce investment boards and comprises a wide array of projects and initiatives aimed at transforming the regional economy through the development, use and expansion of modeling and simulation technologies and integrating those technologies into the Port industries of Transportation, Warehousing and Distribution.
SEVA-PORT is committed to developing a skilled and prepared workforce in response to this regional growth and transformation.

NEW! TRAINING GRANTS AVAILABLE
Three New Ways to Benefit from the SEVA-PORT WIRED grant
- Tuition assistance is available through the SEVA-PORT WIRED grant for individuals interested in certificate and degree programs in the logistics and modeling and simulation fields. Up to $4000 is available to eligible students so they can upgrade their skills and be more employable once the economy recovers.
- SEVA-PORT also provides assistance to small businesses and entrepreneurs in the logistics and modeling and simulation industries through The College of William and Mary Technology and Business (TAB) Center. TAB offers a series of training modules free-of-charge to employees and businesses owners in the region.
- Lastly, SEVA-PORT is launching a cash-match grant program with the Virginia Electronic Commerce and Technology Center (VECTEC). This program will provide small business owners with e-commerce education and technology implementation services.
